There are few things that make me as happy as pushing beyond my current capabilities. Especially when it comes to strength. Third week of my progression schedule, today, I was supposed to push 90% of my known 1rm for 5 sets of 3 reps of overhead presses. Instead I ended up pushing 100% of my 1 Rm for the same volume! So technically, I'm already beyond my best - I hit my single pr weight 3 times an for 5 grueling sets. So it was no fluke. I ended up laughing after the set out of happiness! :-) Awesome end to a crazy day.
