Life is full of coincidence and Providence - literally everything has its own time and place in your journey. Some of it good, some of it bad, and some of it, just unbelievable when you see all the pieces come together.
I have been blessed to have had my share of fair weather friends very early in life - so i have learned to live with my guard up at all times. But a few people just percolated past my guard effortlessly, like they were meant to be. And i let them.
Some of them came into my life when neither of us could have been a part of each other's life, but the connect we had was undeniable. So i never bothered with labels and tags, rather just let them be what they are, how they are and pursue their own magnificent journey, and in their own way, some of them did the same.
Little did we realise then at that time that we had just stumbled upon what unconditional love really is.
Love isn't trapping a tiger and keeping it in a cage because you love it. Love is watching that tiger flourish in the wilderness it belongs in and still loving it and keeping watch to keep it safe - only intervening in any way to keep it protected. Protective, not possessive. That's love to me.
Like holding hands, but not crushing them. Like knowing you're there, but not imposing. Loving. Not possessing.
I'm glad i have always had this kind of love in my life. All while the people and things that didn't belong, came and went like driftwood in an open sea.
My lighthouses, my shores, my rocks, my gentle skies... Remained. And me with them.
We always belonged, no matter what.
Untied.
Unbound.
Unimaginably loved.
Thank you universe. Sometimes, i think you're too kind to me. *Jinx*
Much Love and Gratitude,
