Written in the night

Written In The Night
Words flowing in silence,
thoughts tearing across,
my mind plays a cruel game
in memories full of moss.
Memories I wished I never had,
come out into the light,
things I wish I could forget
drown me into the night.
Shards of broken mirrors
stare back as at them I see,
I look a little while longer
and I see hundreds of me.T
here playing in the shadows
somewhere around and near,
they play there in the dakness
for they know its them I fear.
Play along I wish I could,
Wish was not I a mortal,
had no need to ever be hurt,
I wish I were immortal.
Words still flow in silence,
thoughts still tear across,
I can feel the light in darkness,
the night has come to pass.

O woman!

On the ocassion of women's day i take this opportunity to thank every woman who has been a part of my life. This poem is a tribute to every single woman in my life who has made me every bit of what i am today. If in any way somethings are left unsaid - do believe that they are only so co they cant be said in words but can only be felt.

O Woman

For the way you make me feel
For the way you held my hand
For all the times you gave me faith,
Believed in me, made me realize
That I can fly…
For all the times you made me tall
For all the times you healed my soul
For all yours ways that keep me alive
All those smiles and believing eyes
That made my day…
For all those memories,
For all those joys,
For the world you’ve made me believe in.
As a mother, as a sister,
As a friend, as love itself,
As a person, as the spirit of strength,
As the soul of hope, as the spirit…
of the woman that you are.
Thank you, for being the woman that you are.
