I DON'T CARE - an 'article' of hate

This is the first time i'm putting up an article written by someone else - cause it just shows so much perspective. A perspective that full of emotion - of frustration, indifference and hate. I'm not advocating these views, which though i do agree are brilliantly written. It makes a great article to fuel hate filled americans. And i wouldnt be surprised if the writer ran for president! I'm just putting this article here without any judgement. Tell me what you think of it. Let's talk.
This is the article supposedly written by a housewife in New Brunswick to her Local newspaper:

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001 and have continually threatened to do so since?

Were people from all over the world, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from the nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a few Taliban wer e claiming to be tortured by a justice system of the nation they come from and are fighting against in a brutal insurgency.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mo sques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs. I'll care when the Canadian media stops pretending that their freedom of speech on stories is more important than the lives of the soldiers on the ground or their families waiting at home to hear about them when something happens.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a ANA soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and, you guessed it, I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behaviour!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add: 'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they ma de a difference in the world. But, the Soldiers don't have that problem.'

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope you forward all this. One last thought for the day: Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The Canadian Soldier.
3. The British Soldier
4. The Dutch Soldier and
5. The American Soldier
One died for your soul, the other 4 for your freedom.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET ALL OF THEM. AMEN!

  2. I wish the world had the 'live and let live' concept whether American, Iraqi, French or Azerbaijani!

And one more thing, I find Indians are some of the most racist people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I mean the whole caste system injustice and north/south and state divide surely we need to look a lil closer to home befoe we can critise other people.

I'll tell you something... living in London I can honestly say the Indians here are very racist to other colours and to other nationality. In fact even when I lved in India I havent seen much hindu-muslim i.e indo-pakistani hatred but here its really bad. Anyway I could go on and on! check out my new blogspot if you get a chance.

  3. racism is everywhere--- that's the point--- we always want to DIFFERENTIATE--- create a difference so that we can be HIGHER. BETTER. GREATER.

for eg: LONDON. Indians and Pakistanis are looked down upon by most british. So Indians and Pakistanis Look down upon eachother so that they can blame the discrimination on eachother and say that they are better.

everybody keeps hating everybody else--- and we end up nowhere.

Tolerance is what we need--- to understand that at the end of the day-- we all live-- we all die-- and that's what it is.

  5. you have wandered off to your own tangent.

racism isnt about degrading a few solitary incident - but a community as a whole.

i can bet on it i can find an englishman who fucks chicken before eating it btw. but that's besides the point.

neways-- when you realise what we are actaully discussing here-- hop back in.

    till then

    ciao :)

  7. Very frankly the article leaves me confused. i get the whole wen u care, i'll think about caring part but do u not realise that these people, thought they're doing wrong, they're doing it coz at a certain point of time someone didn't care about them in the first place. their SOLE aim is to make people care and the only way they know how to do that is to carry out their various missions. whether what they want or dont want is correct or incorrect, they want to be heard...they want someone to care and they think this is the only way people will stand back and listen and offer a ear or a hand.

m not sayin wot they're doing is rite...its VERY wrong. but have u ever tried understandin the psyche of a terrorist??? i know u guys aer talkin about racism etc here...i'm simply talkin about the article purpose. maybe i've identified the purpose incorrectly...maybe its not trying to say 'think about me, the world etc and only then will we think about u'.........maybe thers another purpose...but as far as i see it...thats the purpose and the writer does not realise that THEY themselves are fightin n behavin the way they r for the EXACT same reason.

this world has forgotten to communicate peacefully, it has forgotten to EMPATHIZE with one and other. fine we cant keep everyone happy but we CAN offer an ear once in a while...let one feel heard atleast...otherwise they're just going to go around findin new ways for you to hear them!!!!

terrorists have crazy demands and views...but WHY??? thats the answer to the basic question of terrorism and why it exists and how to get around it. if u do not identify WHY terrorists exist in the first place, there's no way you'll ever be able to change their ways...change their actions...STOP innocent people from dying.

then agen...who's going to bother negotiating or going into psychology? forget that...the people we expect to solve these kind of things are out there paying these guys to cause more problems to bring out stories of a strong and caring government...don't be astonished...u think Bush doesn't know about Bin Laden etc??? MY ASS!!! i think everyone knows it all...so if we really wanna curb terrorism...think of a way to curb politics...think of a way to get CLEAN people in the world. think of changin the way the world thinks and approaches things in life...especially the leaders of the world...coz in the end they have the power...change them....change the way the world works!

sorry for divergin from ur racism talks. u told me to tell u how i feel after readin the article, this is wot i felt...now let's talk...agen as u sed!

  8. Very narrow minded view. This article is a clear reflection of how effective american propoganda and media are in shaping peoples mindset in one single direction.

The writer so openly calls muslims terrorists and preaches christianity. I have nothing against any sort of beliefs, but what right has she got to demean another's beliefs

Now, for some personal opinion, the biggest terrorist is USA. They make the Taliban and go on to destroy them. They make Al Qaeda and later on face the music. Similar is the case with saddam hussein

The whole article is written with shear emotion and no logic.
