Incredible Short Animation films - Part 1

Now and again i keep coming across some splendid animation work in the form of short films. What's note worthy is that these films are many a times INDEPNDANT films - done without the intention of being corporate, massy sell outs. which is maybe why their purity is preserved and their innocent, subtle humour and message showcased intact.

ONE MINUTE FLY
As its name is already telling, the One Minute Fly has got a very limited lifespan. One minute in which it wants to experience everything that makes life worth living...

HOW WE MET
The ORIGINAL of the coke commercial that later became super famous!

YELLOW STICKY NOTES
A man describes through the very post it notes that captured his life, his struggle to break free from them. Brilliant work!

DAN THE MAN
some awesome dude decided to show a man's life through something most men are/were addicted to - 8 bit video games! Hilarious concept - check it out!

ANIMATOR v/s ANIMATION
The fight of the creator v/s his creation takes on a new platform. This animation style is notable in a new ad by Intel btw.

PARKOUR - paper fold animation
parkour motion reel from saggyarmpit on Vimeo.

There's a load of great animation stuff - seen and unseen alike. I'll make it a point to share them here. Afterall, this post is just PART 1 :)
